Release notes

Added new features in the mobile application. Now drivers can:

  • Download offline maps so that they do not depend on network quality during detours.
  • View statistics and the complete route in the task card before starting work.
  • Export recorded tracks from Android devices to external storage to free up mobile device memory.

Added new features to the Task Planner. Now you can:

  • Automatically split polygons into multiple tasks based on the number of drivers, task time, and distance to plan tasks faster.
  • Export geometry from created tasks for use in external systems, for example, for detours with your own dashcam.
  • View project statistics on dashboards: task progress, driver activity, and other parameters.
  • View driver activity on the map: the latest task and the geolocation.
  • Build polygons based on standard territories (regions, districts, settlements, and others), which you can find by name in the search.
  • Use new filters to exclude roads by class (intercity routes and highways) when creating and editing tasks.
  • Use the search by territories, projects, tasks, and drivers on the main page and quickly go to pages with information about them.

Added new features in the mobile application. Now drivers can:

  • Select the working mode: free-roam driving without a route or working on a task from the Task Planner. See the updated instruction on Recording data.
  • Configure the exposure level to achieve higher quality of images. See the Settings section.

Added new features in the Task Planner. Now you can:

  • Use built-in map themes: day, night, and others.
  • Use built-in maps from external sources with satellite images.
  • Add maps from external sources in the WMS and WMTS formats.
  • Released a new service for creating routes and planning tasks for drivers: Task Planner.
  • Drivers can now work on tasks created in the Task Planner: see the updated Driver guide.
  • Added new features for working with map in the mobile application. Now you can:

  • Enabled uploading tracks when the device is in the background mode.

  • Enabled rotating the device 180 degrees: the application interface rotates accordingly.

  • Added a message about unuploaded tracks displayed on the CityLens tab.
  • Added new notifications in the mobile application:

    • about the loss and recovery of a GPS signal
    • about stopping the video recording in the background mode
  • Added voice alerts of starting and stopping the video recording in the mobile application.

  • Optimized the process of uploading tracks.

  • Added new settings in the mobile application:

    • Automatically lower screen brightness while recording.
    • Choose the mode of GPS track clearing (set by the system administrator).
    • Send user logs to report an issue.
  • Enabled zooming in/out while recording.

  • Added information on geolocation detection accuracy displayed in the camera mode.

  • First release of the CityLens documentation.
